NASCAR Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2027 Nominees

NASCAR on Sunday announced its nominees for the 2027 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class.

The list includes 10 individuals on the Modern Era ballot and five from the Pioneer Era ballot. Two individuals from the Modern Era ballot and one from the Pioneer Era ballot will be voted into the 2027 class in May.

The 10 Modern Era nominees are as follows: Neil Bonnett, Tim Brewer, Jeff Burton, Randy Dorton, Ray Elder, Ernie Elliott, Kevin Harvick, Randy LaJoie and Jack Sprague.

The five Pioneer Era nominees are as follows: Ray Fox, Harry Hyde, Banjo Matthews, Herb Nab and Larry Phillips.

The 2026 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class was comprised of Kurt Busch, Harry Gant and Ray Hendrick.

Hyde was dropped from the Modern Era ballot to the Pioneer Ballot, while Jake Elder and Bob Welborn were dropped entirely from the ballot.

The five nominees for the Landmark Award are as follows: Alvin Hawkins, Lesa France Kennedy, Dr. Joseph Mattioli, Les Richter and T. Wayne Robertson.
